5. Presentation night: Korumburra Soccer Club
RSVP and extra tickets to be purchased within a reasonable amount of time for setup and catering. Invitations to be issued
6. GSL Financial reports;
Profit & Loss Report tabled, YTD reported profit (30 June 2017) $24000. Expect minor loss for Financial year ending 31 October 2017.
Financial reports to be tabled monthly.
7. Country Championship, sub committee, planning meeting.
Proposed first meeting 14 August 2017, clubs requested to look within clubs for potential committee members.
8. Women’s Competition (Best & Fairest)
Women’s Best & Fairest commence from round 10, reason clubs were not consistently providing votes. Some disappointment expressed, clubs again advise
when home umpires are appointed to ensure they are aware of the voting requirement.
9. Working with Children
Change as of 1 August, clubs to familiarise themselves with changes and ensure they comply.
10. Team Sheets:
Importance of accurate record keeping and ensure they are submitted on a timely basis particularly white sheets for senior matches, that contain votes. It’s important to maintain the integrity of the Best & fairest system.
Clubs are also reminder to ensure the whites sheets correctly recording players, some questions have been raised as to accuracy and the intent behind listing players who have not attended a game nor taken the field and the impact on player eligibility for finals.
Clubs were advise this is unacceptable and penalties will be imposed for those proven to be acting dishonestly and bringing the game into disrepute.
11. Mini roos gala day
Saturday 9 September 2017, details to be circulated, host club Lang Lang.
12. Respect & Responsibility
Reminder that clubs that are expected to undertake the course within the next 12 months. Course coordinator details have been distributed and are also available from administration
13. Grants & Funding
Clubs encouraged to apply for grants when they become available not difficult to apply for.
14. Planning 2018
Planning 2018 date: 16 October 2017
Clubs to submit ideas and discussion items for consideration prior to the meeting. Important that decisions made are carried through and not overridden in the new year.

• Drouin v Mirboo North 24/7/2017, discussion on proposed outcome, to be
referred to tribunal for determination.
• Team sheets accuracy and importance on the integrity of the competition
and not bring game into disrepute
• Pool of available club umpires to assist other clubs. Lang Lang has umpires
available on away game and or bye rounds
• Country Champ badges, received to be posted to players
